Production Artist

Blizzard Entertainment Europe is looking for a Production Artist to join its marketing team near Paris, France.

Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate
Reports to: Brand Manager - Brand Manager - Europe, Global Creative Director
Countries to work with: Europe
Brands: Blizzard Games, (Diablo, StarCraft, Warcraft and World of Warcraft)

• Execute the localized packaging for all Blizzard games in Europe, in multiple languages (back-catalog; new titles; etc.)
• Coordinate the publishing process both internally with the localization and QA departments & externally with graphic agencies when needed
• Design print marketing assets (advertising, POP material, events, etc.) for Blizzard Europe, in adaptation of the world wide style guides
• Collaborate with marketing team and creative director to launch major game titles.
• Organize and handle the archives for all Blizzard Europe graphical assets

REQUIREMENTS

• English speaking
• Designer background with several years of work experience
• Comprehensive understanding of design principles and typography
• Strong conceptual design skills and the ability to execute designs efficiently and at a high level of quality
• Expert-level knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design tools
• Knowledge of image formats and printed media
• Understanding of the print production process and ability to devise new and unusual print solutions for design and advertising
• Organized with a strong attention to details
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
• A passion for games, movies, graphic novels, science fiction, and other elements of pop culture

PLUSES

• Knowledge of HTML and various webpage construction tools
• French speaking
• Working knowledge of Blizzard Entertainment's intellectual properties, including gameplay of Blizzard Entertainment titles
