Online Community Representative - English
Blizzard Europe is seeking an outgoing individual to provide assistance to our English speaking community via the World of Warcraft forums. This is a position for an avid massively multiplayer online gamer with strong background in providing top-notch customer service.
An ideal candidate would be creative, self-motivated, conscientious, and detail-oriented, with excellent spoken and written communication skills. This person would be able to offer consistently attentive, high-quality customer service in a fast-based environment. He or she also would be very familiar with the massively multiplayer online game genre and game-forum dynamics
Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently reading and responding to postings in the Blizzard forums
- Investigating open topics with other teams at Blizzard
- Writing and presenting regular internal forum-feedback reports
- Participating in fairs and events on request
- Other responsibilities, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English combined with a passion for gaming
- In-depth knowledge of World of Warcraft
- Strong customer-service skills and a professional attitude
- Diligence to consistently follow up on open subjects in the forums
- Proficiency with MS Office
PLUSES
- Previous community-management and/or forum-moderation experience
- Previous PR and/or customer-service experience
- Membership in a World of Warcraft fan site
- Knowledge of other European languages
